Everyone does not play golf to win. Some play for the exercise or the company of their playing companions. Ladies golf bags more than any other allow them to use their bag as an extension on their fashion while on the golf course. When it is time to purchase a ladies golf bag, you will need to know the basics and pick a ladies golf bag that will not only complement your fashion sense but also how you play golf. Here is how to go about doing just that:
Just like when you are shopping for a new car or a new dress, most of the time when you first see the item, you know that it is “the one.” You get excited over the colors or a certain feature. Before pulling the trigger and purchasing, you need to consider a few other things to make sure that this is the best ladies golf bag for you.
Understanding that many times fashion wins out over function, your new ladies golf bag must fit the way you play golf. I simply mean, if you walk the majority of the rounds that you play you certainly will not want to purchase a ladies cart bag. It would simply be too heavy to lug around the golf course.
You will need to determine whether a ladies cart bag or a ladies stand bag or carry bag is what you are in the market to purchase. This will usually be determined on your golfing habits of how you play the game. If you walk and carry your own bag then a cart bag is out of the question. If you typically ride, you will then have the option of purchasing either type of bag.
If you are purchasing a carry bag, you will want to “try it on.” That sounds fun, huh? When you do try the ladies stand bag, adjust the straps properly and make sure it has a set of clubs in it. This will give you a good feel of what it will be like once you on the golf course.
Even though you love the ladies golf bag, you need to make sure that it has enough pockets to carry everything that you take during a round of golf. These items are different for every golfer. Some golfers, you know who you are, cannot play a round of golf without carrying a cell phone so having a specific pocket for your phone is probably more important to you than it is to the rest of us.
Over the years I have seen golfers carry many crazy things that you would never think to carry. The majority of golfers do need room for an umbrella, rain suit, some extra balls, tees and maybe a snack or medication.
